Electronic Arts losses

burning-money

Electronic Arts have now made losses for nine consecutive quarters, whilst the industry they are in has boomed like never before. In that time they have also lost the position as the number one games publisher and been comfortably outperformed by other big game publishers such as Ubisoft. In the last quarter they lost $42 million, a big improvement from the $94 million they lost in the same quarter last year! But turnover is down 24%. I must admit that were I presiding over this I would be looking for alternative career choices, yet nobody seems to be asking for the root and branch reform that is needed. All we hear is continual cost cutting messages.
