This is a wonderful idea! When I got my XBox 360 I sent my XBox and some games to a soldier in Iraq and the response was just heartwarming!

What an excellent little venture, I am surprised no one else is doing this. Good for Jesse.

I have visited the Games for Soldiers website but cannot find a donation section for the organisation as a whole. Namely a place where people may donate to the organisation in a manner where it can decide for itself how it wishes to use the capital.

It may be worth encouraging Jesse to offer a donation link on the website in an constant easy to find location. This way any viewer is free to contribute directly to the organisation. It may result in some pleasant surprises.

Administrative costs are a fact of life and the fact that Games for Soldiers now appreciates this is a good sign that the organisation is ready to grow towards its next stage.

Games are specialised commodities and conventional non-profit ventures may not direct the same degree of attention towards them as Games for Soldiers.
