I have to disagree about a Tory government being a good thing, over the past ten years we've near enough had a conservative government anyway! Labour are the Tories and vice versa, its like swapping purple for violet. I agree with your point about books, some of the books I have read have way more gory scenes then anything I've ever played in a game.
